self-contained, Holiday Cottages which have been newly created within a
recently converted Barn.
They have both been furbished to a very high standard, taking into
consideration the needs of
you the Holiday-maker.

the slightly smaller "Otters Pocket"
Cottage sleeps 1 - 4 people. |

Both Cottages have outstanding views, through every window, of the
surrounding Hills and Countryside.
You haven't lived until you have experienced one of our spectacular
Lakeland sunsets over Skiddaw!
The Barn conversion was originally used to house large Clydesdale Horses
that worked on the Farm,
in times before Tractors became our "Work-horses"!
We
are based on a family-run "Working Farm" within the Lake-District
National Park, set in beautiful surroundings,
with superb views of Skiddaw and Binsey Fell.
The
Farm and Cottages are located up a Private Lane,
off a quiet Country road and are
set in their own 200 acres of Land.
This is a very quiet, peaceful rural area but only a few miles away from
the local Towns
of Keswick & Cockermouth.
Both of which have a good selection of Shops for food and other
commodities.
It's only a short distance from the Cottages, for those of you who like
to walk, climb and explore,
to get onto the Fells,
Mountains, Lakes and open Countryside; where you can truly escape
from the stresses and strains of everyday hustle
and bustle.
Especially ideal for those of you who have
high-pressured city jobs and even those of you who don't!!
We
are only a stone's throw from the
Reivers Cycle Route
for those of you
who would like to bring your bikes (we have secure lock-up facilities).
Even children could cycle
safely, as the
country roads round here have so little traffic.
You are more likely to find a Squirrel or Pheasant on the road than a
car,
although obviously there are some but the roads are pretty quiet in the
main.
Linskeldfield Farm has it's own Tarn close-by. Here you can use
the 12 man purpose-built Bird Hide
to watch the Wild Birds, Ducks, Geese and other Water Birds inc. our
resident Swans.
The Osprey viewpoint at Dodd Woods is only a 10 min drive away.
Here they have high-powered telescopes trained onto the Osprey's Nest.

friends. Idyllically quiet and tranquil
yet not a million miles away from Fells, Lakes, Mountains and the
nearest towns plus civilisation.
