KESWICK STREET THEATRE
Every Tuesday through June & mid July,

Keswick Street Theatre (£2:50)}
accompanied children under 16 free.
will present their summer production, starting
outside the Moot Hall at 7:30pm.
Over 1¼  hours, the collected Audience are taken on a short walk around the Centre of the Town,
where they enjoy TEN different scenes, each depicting
different characters and events from Keswick over the last 450 years
No booking necessary simply turn up outside the Moot Hall
Show dates for the 2009 season are
Tuesdays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd June, 30th, 7th July


COCKERMOUTH   Poet William Wordsworth~
Born in Main St. Cockermouth 7th April 1770
His Home was rescued by the National Trust in 1937
(it was about to be demolished to make way for a Bus Station)!  It is now open to the Public.


Cockermouth also has it's own  Brewery. 
Jennings Beer is a very popular Ale in Cumbria.
Jennings own a lot of the Pubs in the area and
therefore sell their own beer in them.
